Ramonkar (b. 12 May 1980) is a contemporary Indian artist based in Faridabad, Haryana. A graduate in Fine Arts from Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Arts University, Gwalior, he has built a distinguished artistic career spanning more than two decades. Beginning his journey as an illustrator, Ramonkar developed a unique visual language that seamlessly blends realism with contemporary expression, earning recognition among collectors and galleries in India and abroad. His work has been showcased in numerous solo and group exhibitions at prestigious venues, including the India Habitat Centre, Jehangir Art Gallery, Dhoomimal Art Gallery, Lalit Kala Akademi, the India Art Fair, and international exhibitions in Dubai. His paintings are held in prominent public and private collections across India, London, Japan, Canada, Dubai, and Pakistan, reflecting the wide appreciation of his artistic practice. A recipient of several awards, including honours from the All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society (AIFACS), Lalit Kala Akademi Chandigarh, the Sridharshini Award (2024), and the Kala Guru Art Award (2025), Ramonkar continues to explore contemporary themes through expressive compositions, vibrant colour, and dynamic forms. His work celebrates imagination, emotion, and the enduring relationship between art and everyday life.
